Delete your Etqanoon account

You can delete your account at any time, in the Etqanoon app or here on the website. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it removes your account and the data linked to it, and cannot be undone.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open the Etqanoon app and sign in.
  2. Go to Me, then tap Settings (the gear at the top).
  3. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  4. Enter your password and tap Delete my account.

Delete it on this website

Sign in with the same account, then confirm with your password below.

What is deleted

Everything below is removed from our database the moment you confirm, in the app or here.

  • Your account, sign-in details and sessions on every device
  • Your profile: names, headline, bio, links and photo
  • Your Skill Passport, points, levels and badges
  • Your exam attempts and answers
  • Your challenge entries, and the votes you gave (vote counts are adjusted)
  • Your notifications, notification settings and phone registrations for notifications

What is kept

  • A record that an account was deleted, with its internal ID and the time. It holds no name or email; we keep it for security.
  • Messages you sent through the contact form, and consultation requests. They are not linked to your account; to have them deleted, write to info@etqanoon.com from the email address you used.
  • Backups: our database backups may still contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion. After that it is gone for good.

Can’t sign in?

Reset your password from the sign-in page, then delete your account. If you no longer have access to your email address, write to info@etqanoon.com or message us on WhatsApp at +96892422546.
